Welcome to the UK’s 1st Adult, small-sided Football Leagues with a Social Heartbeat.
Created and run by the Street Soccer Foundation charity, the Street Soccer Community Leagues are to launch in locations across the country in early 2022 entirely focused on uniting communities and achieving positive social impact.
The Street Soccer Leagues will be the first adult 5-a-side Football Leagues to be established in the UK – with 100% of weekly match fees going towards social good causes. Playing for a true purpose, monies from player participation will be used to help fund educational and coaching programmes run by the Street Soccer Foundation which support vulnerable and homeless young people nationwide throughout England, as well as other charitable endeavours related to tackling major social issues such as homelessness and mental health affecting people of all ages.
We want to help you get active, meet new people, make new friends, support people’s health and wellbeing – and with our unique model of ensuring 100% of weekly match fees are used to drive positive social impact – our aim is to bring whole communities together, providing a fun, competitive sporting focus for everyone, all the while helping League participants help change the lives of others in your local community.
Initial Street Soccer Leagues will launch in Early 2022 in locations across England.
The initial playing venues will depend on the locations and number of registrations received.
Teams can enter and play from all backgrounds and religions, encouraging social inclusion, and along with the obvious health and welfare benefits, not to mention the leagues providing vital activity to those who might not get any other exercise, this is your chance to give back and help those in your local community who need it the most.
For each League, we will ordinarily operate four seasons per year: Two in the Spring/Summer and two seasons during the Autumn/Winter. Each season will run for 10 weeks plus Play-Offs for Qualifying Teams, with each League comprising of a minimum of 8 teams, maximum of 12.
The Street Soccer Leagues will be officiated by fully qualified Referees and supported by Match Night Supervisors at each venue.
